Description
A classic 4 Days Wildlife and Cultural intinerary for kidepo valley National park features, Zebra Safari lodge, Apoka Safari lodge style game drives, the kanangorok Hot springs, and a karamojong community visit
Day 1: Travel to kidepo valley National park.
• Morning Flight or Drive: Take a morning flight from Entebbe with Aerolink Uganda or start a 10- 12 hour road journey drive via Gulu and Kitgum.
• Afternoon Arrival: Check in at your lodge ( Zebra Safari lodge, Kidepo Savannah lodge) and enjoy a relaxed evening.
• Evening: Sunset viewing over the Narus valley plains
Day 2: Narus valley Game Drive and Cultural Tour.
•Morning game drive: Explore the Narus valley to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes and giraffes near waterholes
• Afternoon: Visit a traditional karamojong manyatta homestead to learn about local culture, traditional architecture and dances.
• Night: Optional quite evening at the lodge under the cear northern stars
Day 3: Kidepo valley and Kanangorok Hot springs.
•Morning Drive: Head north towards the kidepo river, lined with Barassus Palm trees
•Hotsprings visit: Reach the kanangorok Hot springs near the south Sudan border keeping an eye out for ostriches and cheetahs
•Afternoon: Short guided nature walks on the Savannah plains with an armed ranger
Day 4: Departure.
•Morning: Pack up, take a final short morning wildlife viewing drive, or prepare for your return flight/ road trip back south.
